Refund Policy

At Chloé Estate Sales, we strive to provide exceptional estate sale, consignment, and related services. Because our work involves significant planning, marketing, and operational costs, our refund policy is outlined as follows:

1. Service Fees & Deposits

 

  • Non-Refundable Deposits: Any deposit or retainer paid to secure our services is non-refundable. This covers the time, scheduling, and resources allocated in preparation for your sale or project.

  • Service Fees: Fees outlined in signed agreements are considered earned once services have begun and are generally non-refundable.

 

 

 

2. Estate Sales & Consignment

 

  • Estate Sale Proceeds: Once items are sold at an estate sale, all sales are final. We do not provide refunds or exchanges to buyers, as items are sold “as is” and “where is.” Buyers are encouraged to inspect items before purchase.

  • Consignment Items: If your item is accepted for consignment, all consignment terms (including payouts and commissions) will be governed by your consignment agreement. No refunds are issued once items have been consigned.

 

 

 

3. Cancellations

 

  • Client Cancellations: If you cancel scheduled services after signing an agreement, deposits and any costs incurred (e.g., marketing, staging, photography) are non-refundable.

  • Company Cancellations: In the rare event that Chloé Estate Sales must cancel services for reasons within our control, we will refund any deposit or unearned fees paid.

 

 

 

4. Special Circumstances

 

Refunds may be considered only in exceptional cases at the sole discretion of Chloé Estate Sales management. Any approved refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10–14 business days.
